# CBA's Community Shabbat in-person and on Zoom with Guest Speaker Helene Yentis January 16th come and experience a Humanistic Shabbat celebration with guest speaker Helene Yentis. Helene Yentis is the founder and director of the Palm Beach Center for Jewish Art, a scholarly venue to view and to learn about the many aspects of Jewish Art. She has an MA in Art History and Judaic Studies from the University of Chicago. It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words. Join Art Historian and Jewish Art Expert Helene Yentis in an interactive power-point presentation. The program is educational and entertaining. She will examine some of the social justice issues of our time thru the special lenses of various artists. Both the artists and the artwork have become a catalyst for empowering women in all areas of their lives. The presentation is hip and modern with a serious undertone. A series of open-ended questions are raised about the art. There is no right or wrong answer, but a thought-provoking discussion bubbles to the surface. It is also an opportunity to enjoy some great contemporary art and archival photographs. Everyone is welcome. Bring a friend!
