Join us for the Connect and Heal weekly poetry writing workshop. We meet VIRTUALLY using Zoom. (Instructions below.)

• About Us
We are poets who meet each week to read great poems, to get inspired and to share our work. We alternate leadership from week to week, each of us bringing different topics, authors, poetry forms and approaches into the mix, stimulating ongoing discussions around poetry.
• What we'll do
Al will host tonight's event, in memory of Barbara Peña, a New Mexico teacher and poet who was a treasured member of this group prior to her passing in September, 2025. We will read and discuss some of Barbara's poems and participants are welcome to share stories or memories of her life and influence on the group.
• What to bring – Be prepared to read poems online and to write. Be ready with pen and paper or to type on your computer or device for the writing exercise.
• Important to know – We provide a supportive community for poets of all styles and skill levels.
