Snow Moon Hike ❄️

### Hey, y'all!

We'll be doing a hike around Lady Bird Lake and Town Lake. This will be a 6.3 mile hike at an easy pace. Make sure to bring a light source. We recommend bringing water.

Park at the Lady Bird Lake trail head across from the Central Austin Youth League fields at 2 Robert T Martinez Jr St, Austin, TX 78702.

Why Is it called the Snow Moon?

We will start at the Lady Bird Lake Hike & Bike Trail near Central Austin Youth League. We will then cross the river at 1st Avenue (Drake) Bridge, giving us a good view of the river and an opportunity to see Austin's famous bats. Continuing on the Ann and Roy Butler Hike & Bike Trail, we will continue to the boardwalk and cross at Longhorn Dam. We will be able to take the Ann and Roy Butler Hike & Bike Trail back to where we parked, passing another view of the dam and some murals.

Afterward we're socializing at the Lustre Pearl East if anyone would like to join: 114 Linden St, Austin, TX 78702. It has outdoor seating and free parking.
