What we’re about
Connect Lounge is a refreshing, fun new social for Afro-Caribbeans, particularly those in their 30s and 40s+, to meet, connect and enjoy ourselves while celebrating this amazing culture.
The group is open to all other races/ non Afro-Caribbeans also- but the focus will be on events that celebrate this colourful and diverse culture, so please join us!
The group is focused on meaningful connections — without awkwardness or pressure
So whether you’re exploring new interests, looking to have fun, make some new memories and new friends, or seeking that special someone; there is space for you here @Connect Lounge.
Types of events you can expect:
- Events could include live entertainment, games night, networking, theatre, day trips, travel, food and everything in between

Connect Lounge offers a relaxed and welcoming environment to connect with new people, meet a new friend and enjoy yourself after a long working week.
Coming by yourself? Don't worry, we will be there to make you feel welcome!
You can expect:
- A great evening of networking- without awkwardness, just real connections
- Be entertained with some live music from new UK talent
- Fun icebreakers/interactive games and conversation starters
Plus an optional after party from our DJ who will be playing you the best music across Afrobeats, R&B,Hip-Hop, Amapiano and more!
