Out of the Ordinary [Explore Fort Ord]
Details
You may know this Fort as a site of unexploded ord-inance, while history buffs will tell you it is named after Union Army Maj. Gen. Edward Otho Cresap Ord (1818–1883).
But, are the trails just a bit boring? Shall we say, Ordinary? Best suited to training the cavalry horses that roamed these hills in the 1920's and '30's?
Well, hold your horses! For, it is also said that there is at least one route less trodden, one trail that must be seen in the splendor of Spring, one path that is actually a bit extra-ord-inary.
Really? Actually, we don't know. Wednesday, we are forming an expedition to set the story straight. Join us to find out!
