Some call it the alien landing site. I call it the world’s most photogenic picnic table. Either way, we will be scouting a possible full moon route for next week. Aliens and humans agree — this is a nearly ideal sunset picnic spot!
Come enjoy early wildflowers as we traverse several very different ecological habitats along this route. Then cast your vote for the best sunset/evening trail for this coming April 1st, no joke, full moon.

Hike departs 10 minutes after posted meeting time..
Route: ~7 miles & 900’ TEG
Wilder Ridge, Twin Oaks, Enchanted Loop, to Alien Picnic Site, then home.
Hazards include ticks, poison oak, poison hemlock, rattle snakes, cougars.
Note: Full disclosure. This (Sunday) hike will not include a sunset OR a full moon. But the future holds them in abundance.
