Let’s try a meet up to hike while we cope with anxiety. We can also have some optional(not required) discussion mixed in with the hike if people are up for it. Please keep in mind that we will be in a public environment, therefore it is not a guarantee that nobody outside the group won’t hear what we talk about.

For our first attempt, I figure we can try Hubbard Park in Meriden. Here is a description of the trail via AllTrails https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/connecticut/hubbard-park-east-and-west-peak?p=72500187&sh=5ymxlo.

I might do multiple loops depending on various factors. Others are welcome to join me if I decide to do so. On the other hand you’re not required to complete a loop, if you decide you can’t continue you’re free to stop and return to your car any time. Nobody will try to stop you and there is no shame in doing so.

It is recommended to have the appropriate apparel and footwear for this kind if activity incase we encounter any muddy and/or rough terrain. It also might not be a bad idea to bring hiking poles as well as plenty of food and water, but that’s up to you.
