Connecticut, Protect Medicaid! No Matter What, No Matter Who!

Join HUSKY for Immigrants for an Emergency Field Call Tuesday, July 29th at 6:30pm. During this call we will discuss the current federal landscape, our priorities moving forward, and action you can take!

Last Monday, the Trump administration authorized sharing personal data of Medicaid recipients with ICE. Not only does it put at risk children and families who have access to health care through their state's Medicaid programs, like HUSKY, but this is also a direct violation and breach of privacy for the 79 million Medicaid recipients across the country!

Urgent and immediate action is needed from our state elected officials. That why we're demanding that CT legislative leadership defend HUSKY for all residents, including immigrants!

In the upcoming special legislative session, Connecticut MUST: - Take urgent action to prevent further harmful sharing and misuse of immigrant families’ personal information.

Protect our progress and maintain coverage for children up to age 15 and pregnant individuals, regardless of immigration status
Safeguard HUSKY Medicaid coverage for all residents, families, and workers who rely on the program
