July 30th was the 60th Anniversary of Medicare and August 14th is the 90th Anniversary of Social Security.
Please join Greater Hartford Change 959, for folks in the 959 Area Code and BEYOND on August 14th, for a march from the Social Security Administration on High Street in Hartford, all the way to the State Capitol. Followed by a rally at the Capitol. Event details are subject to change! It is our duty, on this Anniversary to make FDR and LBJ's legacies proud and fight against this Administration's attacks on the biggest safety nets, for America's elderly, disabled and working poor. #Resist ✊️
