BYSTANDER RIGHTS TRAINING - CTACLU Communciations Director - Sunday 4pm

B Rae Perryman will walk us through Know Your Rights: Bystander Action

This is precipitated by the Tufts incident, where bystanders can be heard on camera saying things like "if you are police, why won't you show your face?" Many people commenting online are saying if plainclothes officers are asked to identify themselves & show a badge, they are required to. There is also the question of why no one (particularly any able-bodied white man) physically puts themselves in-between the victim and the alleged police.
I think this begs the questions, what are we actually allowed to do & demand if we see this taking place? What are the differences (if any) between police & ICE? Etc.

The CTACLU Comm's Director will be able to address these Q's, and I will bring several hypotheticals to the call where we can go step by step through allowable actions.
