What we’re about
Join me George Gogas in the journey of de-stigmatizing men asking for help and improving themselves. Traditional gender roles can be damaging for individuals view of self and uniqueness. These Seminars are to prove that you can be masculine but still have healthy relationships, treat people right and be vulnerable to those in your inner circle. I've been working in the mental health field since 2013 and that experience paired with being a combat veteran have allowed me help men break through barriers of asking for help and being open. One quote that can reflect the message we are pushing is: "It is better to be a warrior in a garden, than a gardener in a war." -Chinese Proverb. The first seminar will be in late Fall 2025 located at the VFW in New Britain, CT. Some of the topics covered will be: Mindfulness, Making new and building relationships, communication, social skills, anxiety management, self-esteem boosting, de-stigmatizing masculinity, support and camaraderie building and health and wellness, These seminars will be capped off with some time around the campfire to relax and let it all sink in. Tickets will be available for purchase through EventBrite.
