ConnSWUG IS BACK! Mark your calendars for the first in-person meeting of the CONNSWUG group since 2019

To kick off our return to normalcy, we're bringing back perennial favorite presenter Sal Lama. Normally, Sal would present “What's New in SW2023”, however due to our extended absence, we've requested an overview of "What's new in SW since the last time we met" to help us all get back up to speed.

Sal is the R&D Director SOLIDWORKS and an outstanding presenter. So prepare your most challenging SW questions for the Q&A!

We're also excited to introduce a brand new venue for this event: UConn’s Innovation Partnership Building (IPB) in Storrs, CT. The IPB is the state’s premier center for cutting edge research and industry collaboration. With world-class microscopy, an advanced 3D laser sintering lab, and high-performance computational capabilities, the IPB provides services that improve the technological ability and manufacturing efficiencies for companies across Connecticut. The cutting edge equipment and facilities are amazing, so you'll definitely want to show up early (starting at 5:00pm) if you can to get the full guided tour. Abbreviated tours will still be available to everyone arriving at our normal 6:00pm start time.

So to recap, you're getting Sal, a world class center for advanced tech, and of course, all the free food and raffle prizes you know and have been missing for literally years! Be sure not to miss this one. Also please pass the word along to any new colleagues who haven't been to a user group meeting before, this one should be a great introduction to what we're all about.
