What we’re about
Hi Everyone, my name is Maria and I've been living in the Algarve now for 4 years. Born and raised Canadian. I'm creating this group in hopes of connecting with other mothers who are now calling Algarve their home away from home. My daughter is 3 years old and I thought this could be a nice way to meet other moms and their toddlers also looking for a little connection. I'm totally new to this but I figure we can all help each other along. I know sometimes we can feel hesitant even as adults to connect with others but I also know how lonely it can feel being in this new chapter of life along with being in a new country and building a new support system. I could probably write an essay on this but this isn't the space for it:) I will organize 1-2 hour meetups (playdates) 1-2 times a week as a start and see where the journey takes me (us). This group will be for moms with children 0-6 years old.
