Connecting Spaceは、日本に住む外国人が気軽に集まり、安心して交流できるコミュニティです。言語や文化の壁で孤立しがちな日常に、情報交換や友人づくりの場を提供します。参加者同士が自由に話せるテーマテーブルやゲーム、クイズなどを通じて自然なコミュニケーションを促進し、地域における国際交流の拠点を目指しています。

### Our Purpose & Group Description

Connecting Space is a community where foreigners living in Japan can easily gather and connect in a safe, welcoming environment.
We provide a place to exchange information and make friends, helping to bridge the language and cultural gaps that can lead to isolation.
Participants can join themed tables, games, and quizzes designed to spark natural conversation.
Our goal is to become a local hub for international exchange and friendship.

背景
日本で暮らす外国人は、言語や文化の壁から孤独を感じたり、生活情報が不足しがちです。
目的
安心して交流できる憩いの場を提供し、情報交換や友人づくりをサポートします。
コワーキングスペースとして地域・国際交流の拠点となることを目指します。

Background
Many foreigners in Japan often feel lonely or lack access to useful local information because of language and cultural barriers.
Goals

  • Create a relaxing space where people can comfortably socialize and share information.
  • Support friendship-building and mutual understanding.
  • Develop a coworking-style community that serves as a center for both local and international exchange.

1. What We Expect from Participants

  • Engage in the event proactively and enjoy the meet-up while showing respect for everyone
  • Share your experiences and practical tips about living in Japan
  • Feel comfortable starting conversations with people you’re meeting for the first time

  • 入口付近にスタッフが立って誘導
  • Meetupのイベントページから参加申込・グループ情報を確認
  • 初めての方はテーマテーブルや司会の声掛けを目印に参加

### 4. How to Find the Group

  • Our staff will greet you near the entrance and guide you to the space.
  • RSVP and check details on the Meetup event page.
  • First-time visitors can look for the theme tables or listen for the host’s announcements.
