Mat Hunter @Central Research Laboratory

Mat leads the CRL’s work developing external partnerships across the private, public and non-profit sectors, as well as helping to shape their long-term strategy.

Mat’s career has focused on design innovation across a number of fields. He worked for IDEO in both San Francisco and London for 15 years, where he was made a Partner and head of the Consumer Experience Design practice. After leaving IDEO, Mat became Chief Design Officer at the Design Council. In that role he led the pioneering Design Challenges program and the establishment of the Spark start-up accelerator.

Ben is an accomplished design lead with over 10 years experience in product development.He spent 5 years in the far east working directly with Chinese vectors,successfully bringing multiple,award winning products to market.Ben is Head of Product at Primo Toys.
