🌳 Oakoasis County Preserve Hike 11/9 - NEW DATE

Let's go on a hike at Oakoasis County Preserve in Lakeside. We will see an oak grove, mountain views, wildlife, a view of San Vicente Reservoir, and plant life on the 2.5-mile loop trail.

Of note, we will go at a noncompetitive pace.

Directions:
From Interstate 8, take Highway 67 north until the freeway ends. Turn right on Mapleview. Turn left on Ashwood, which will turn into Wildcat Canyon Road. Drive over 4 miles, and when you get to the top of the hill, turn left at the entrance to Oakoasis Open Space Preserve. Across is the El Capitan trail head. Proceed along this short road and the parking lot will be on your right.
