Details

Join us for a hike in the Laguna Mountains which is approximately at an elevation of 6,000 feet. The trail is generally flat and open with some shaded areas. I don't have a specific number of miles that we will walk but expect to be on the trail up to 4 hours. We will go at a casual pace and take stops when needed. Features of the hike include pine and oak trees, meadow, Big Laguna Lake, flowers, birds, and more!

Fees
You will need to pay a day use parking fee of $8 at the Self-Service Pay Station at the entrance. The Interagency Pass (America the Beautiful Pass) or Adventure Pass are not accepted.

Directions
Take the Sunrise Highway--11589 Sunrise Hwy, Mt. Laguna, CA 91948
Look for the sign that says Laguna & El Prado Campground - Cleveland National Forest
Turn onto Laguna Meadows Rd.
Slight left onto Los Huecos Rd
Continue about 0.4 miles
You will see a parking lot on your left.

Please allow time for driving and finding the meeting spot.

What to Bring
Water, snack, sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses), binoculars, camera, and anything else that will keep you safe and comfortable.
