What can we learn about consciousness by studying AI w/ Jonathan Shock

In this talk I will give my thoughts on what we might, or indeed might not, be able to learn about consciousness by studying AI systems. I will discuss a project in collaboration with Professor Mark Solms focusing on affective consciousness through an Active Inference lens, and about the problems of evaporating mysteries when you start to code.
