- There is no cell service in the Boone Fork area. Please review all info below and research the area BEFORE coming.
- This event is for the Summer Cool Down attendees; HOWEVER, it is open to all members if they wish to come up just for the day.

THREE HIKING OPTIONS (Rain or shine!)
OPTION #1 (meeting spot)
- Boone Fork Trail (plus Hebron Falls Loop)
- *** Promptly at 9:00am ***
- Waterfalls 💦 - water crossings - ladders - scrambles
- 6.5 miles, 1,200ft, Strenuous, 3.5-4.0hrs + dillydallying
OPTION #2 (meeting spot)
- Boone Fork Trail
- *** Promptly at 9:00am ***
- Waterfalls💦 - water crossings - ladders
- 5.2 miles, Moderate to Strenuous, 3.0-3.5hrs + dillydallying
OPTION #3 (meeting spot)
- This options allows for a little extra HANGING OUT in BLOWING ROCK
- Glen Burney Waterfalls Trail
- *** Also 9:00am but no stress because this one is super casual bro ***
- Waterfalls 💦 - steep sections - might be slippery!
- 2.5 miles, Moderate, 1.0-1.5hrs + dillydallying
- This group will have a few extra hours to enjoy Blowing Rock before meeting the others for lunch
- Please note that there may not be an official hike leader for this one
NOTE: OPTIONS #1 and #2 start/stop at the same spot so everyone can carpool from their common origin point (Charlotte or the KOA or wherever); both groups will hike together until the waterfalls; completion time will be about 30-45 minutes later for option #1 (#2 group can dillydally at the falls a little longer to reduce the waiting time).
