This workshop offers a calm, hands-on experience suitable for women’s groups interested in creative wellbeing and sustainable practice. Participants transform old cotton t-shirts into soft yarn and learn a few basic macrame knots to make a unique plant hanger. The session moves at a relaxed pace, encouraging mindfulness and personal reflection alongside the craft.
A guided meditation introduces the theme of renewal, inviting participants to connect with natural cycles of growth and change. Through brief journalling prompts, they are gently encouraged to consider how these ideas might resonate in their own lives. The craft process is simple and accessible, with step-by-step guidance that allows for individual variation.
By the end, each person takes home a personal, handmade object that embodies care and continuity, crafted from recycled materials. This tangible result serves not only as a practical item but also as a subtle reminder of thoughtful attention to both making and living. The workshop suits a variety of settings where creativity, mindfulness, and connection come together in a supportive environment.
