When we hear the word wholeness, we often think of healing ourselves, becoming more integrated, more authentic, more at home in our own bodies. That is beautiful, important work. But I keep coming back to the feeling that wholeness doesn't end with the individual.
Nothing in nature exists in isolation.

A lone bird is beautiful, but a murmuration creates something astonishing, hundreds of birds moving as if they share one mind. Even our own bodies are living ecosystems, made up of trillions of cells working together to create something none of them could become alone.

A circle is often used to represent wholeness because every point is equally important. Remove one piece, and it is no longer complete. Nature seems to understand this instinctively: every part belongs because every part contributes to the whole.
Perhaps we humans have forgotten.

Many of us spend years trying to heal ourselves, become our best selves, or find our purpose. But maybe becoming whole isn't the destination. Maybe it prepares us for something larger.
Maybe our individual healing is meant to strengthen the greater circle.
We live in a time that desperately needs communities that know how to listen, support one another, celebrate together, grieve together, and imagine a different way of being. Real change doesn't happen through isolated individuals, it happens when connected people remember they belong to something bigger than themselves.
This month's dance is an invitation to explore both.

What does it feel like to inhabit your own wholeness? And what happens when we begin to experience ourselves as part of a larger living whole?
We'll dance with the elements, with one another, and with the wisdom that emerges when a room full of people begins moving, breathing, and listening together.

As always, no dance experience is necessary. There are no steps to learn and nothing to get right. Just come as you are.
I hope you'll join us as we remember that we are not just individuals dancing in the same room, we are part of a living circle, creating something none of us could create alone.

Dancing Freedom is a monthly guided movement meditation—a living ritual that carries us through the sacred elements of earth, water, fire, air, and ether.
We don’t just dance with these elements—we remember them within us. In our bones, in our breath, in the quiet, ancient depths of our being. Earth grounds us, water softens and flows, fire ignites and transforms, air opens and expands, and ether invites us into the mystery of the unseen. As we move, we awaken to the truth that we are not separate from these forces—we are them.
Each month offers a new theme, a subtle thread to follow—guiding us gently toward healing, toward deeper listening, toward a more honest expression of the body’s wisdom.
This is a practice of liberation. A somatic, ecstatic, and shamanic journey that supports the unfolding of living oneness—within ourselves and with each other.
All are welcome here. Every age, every body, every color, every gender, every path. No experience is needed, only a willingness to arrive as you are.
When we gather, we enter in peace, co-creating a space of presence, transformation, and belonging. A space where movement becomes medicine, and community becomes a remembering.
