Solstice Ceremony and Celebration

This event doesn't (necessarily) have to do with conscious dying and conscious grieving, but I've been conducting this ceremony for the past 26 years, and since I just moved to Sebastopol (and just started this group), I thought it would be a nice way to connect with people of like mind.
In the ceremony, we each light a candle and speak our intentions for bringing more light into our lives and into the world during the coming year. Please bring a candle (pillar or votive so it can stand on its own... no tapers), and a personal blessing for the season. You may also wish to bring a personal sacred object to place on our altar. Please also bring some food or drink to share for a pot luck immediately following the ceremony.
NOTE: The ceremony will begin promptly at 5 pm. We ask that you please arrive on time so as not to interrupt the ceremony once it's in progress.
