This group is a support group for those with a family member with addiction.

It's often overwhelming on many levels coping the addiction of someone close.

This is an opportunity change who you are to be better able to cope. You night ask why you should I change. The reason is, when you change who you are, you build your resilience and skills to take back the parts of your life that have been overtaken. In creating these boundaries, the person with the addiction has to shift their behaviours. I'm not saying they will choose to 'get clean', I am saying you will be better able to navigate life with them on your terms, gently with authority and hold your confidence.

What you can expect;
- to gain support
- to feel understood and validated (addicts have ways of not taking responsibility and wanting you to be responsible)
- to support change
- to ensure you and others are safe

This group will be fortnightly
$25/2hrs (cash or transfer)
