Hi all. I would like to cover two topics at this meetup. The first one is "a commitment problem" or "how to make a commitment consciously?". The second one is a so-called "no-show" problem.

How many times has somebody committed to you to do or deliver something and didn't fulfill their commitment? At work or in life generally? How did you feel about that? What were the consequences of that for you?
How to change that situation? How to hold people accountable? Or, how to avoid situation breaking your commitment if you made that? How to make a commitment consciously?
This is the first commitment topic. The second "no show" topic is related to the first one.

I would like to start a description of the situation with some facts which I observe.

We have 98 members in the group already and this is an exciting thing. But what bothers me is the issue of so-called "no show".
Let me explain with numbers.
How many people registered for the first online kick-off event? - 53.
How many of them came to the event? - 7.
How many people registered for the second in-person event? - 16.
How many of them came to the event? - 5.
This situation is not unique to our group I believe.

I would like to say, that I was happy to meet with those people who joined the events. We had interesting and enriching conversations. But I feel disappointed about the fact that so many people registered and didn't come.

I founded this group with the idea to create value for participants through learning Conscious Business philosophy, approaches, and techniques. But, to make the process effective we need active participation and bringing real cases from people's professional context. We should not just talk about Conscious Business System but we need cases to work on. That is why active participation is very important.
Thus, what we have currently in terms of participation rate and bringing real stories to discuss doesn't fit my view and my values as a coach. One of my values is a high-quality and effective learning process that can be achieved through working on real cases and having discussions based on a variety of points of view. This value is unsatisfied with the current situation.

To sum up, firstly I would like to know your, group participants, points of view on what I called a "no-show" problem and how we can find possible solutions to improve the situation. As I see it, would be an ideal state to have 80% of registered participants joined the event.
Secondly, we will learn the topic of conscious commitment.

Join our third event and bring your point of view to find a solution to the announced problem!
Join and learn how to make commitments consciously and hold people accountable.
