CONSCIOUS RELATIONSHIPS
Me, You & The Space Between Us
LONDON OCTOBER 19/20
10am-6pm Saturday
10am-5.30pm Sunday
Facilitated by Nicola Foster and Jason Porthouse
Join us as we map the territory of ‘me, you, and the space between us’ - how we are in connection with others.
This creative space is for people in relationship, people who want to be, and everyone who loves learning about how relationships work.
In this two-day experiential workshop we’ll be exploring:
- Attachment styles - how understanding them helps us form better relationships
- Codependency and enmeshment
- Differentiation - what is it and why does it matter?
- Understanding domains and how they play a key role in relating
- Navigating between space and togetherness, independence and inter-dependence
- How to define and practice boundaries
- The importance of a strong sense of self
From friendships to family members, chance encounters to committed partnerships - together we will look at how touch, expansion and play can bring more aliveness into our connections. We’ll explore the dance that can happen when two people allow themselves to be fully present with each other; showing their vulnerability, playfulness, attractions and desires. And we’ll see how healthy boundaries are essential to creating the safety that real intimacy needs to thrive.
Whether you are someone who loses themselves in relationship, or you get overwhelmed by too much intimacy, this workshop is for you.
You’ll practice asking for both the space you need, the connection you desire, and negotiating the difference - the space between you. The workshop will include movement, meditation, guided exercises, conscious touch, circle time, sharing, and personal reflection.
Join us in our experimental, playful exploration of co-creating healthy, empowered connection.
This weekend is suitable for individuals and intimate partners - all are welcome.
About Nicola
Nicola is a relationship and intimacy therapist and teacher. She began learning about love and relationships with Jan Day in 2011 and this journey led her to escape her corporate job and qualify as a sex and relationship therapist supports couples and individuals with intimacy. Her mission is to help men and women create, repair and deepen their intimate relationships. Nicola says "When I first began learning about relationships with Jan I had very little idea about how to be relational. I was wrapped up in my own fears, judgments, prejudices and doubts. As I experimented with dating and being more conscious in my relationship choices, I learned to see the unique differences and beautiful qualities in others and to how to be more present. I also found greater self-acceptance. I now love to help others to find more self-esteem, confidence and joy in all their relationships."
About Jason

Jason is also a qualified Spiritual Companion, having studied with Dr. William Bloom on the only accredited course in Practical Spirituality and Wellness in the UK.
