What we’re about
What does it mean to be a fully conscious and integrated human being in 2025? This group is devoted to creating a community of practitioners who can explore this question in meaningful and profound ways.
Events are designed to help cultivate inner and outer wisdom, strength and fulfillment. We are heavily influenced by Integral Theory, the most comprehensive mapping of the kosmos that we are aware of.
On the inner plane we introduce and support practices that cultivate profound levels of calm, peace, love and equanimity. Many of the practices are drawn from Buddhadharma and the Western Mysteries traditions, but we are not dogmatic or attached to labels. Whatever works is what we use.
On the outer plane, we explore the cutting edge of research-based understandings about how to act skillfully and compassionately in the world. From interpersonal models and practices to personal mastery frameworks to systems thinking approaches, we are committed to supporting all aspects of what it takes to be a well-rounded human being.
Finally, the word ‘Collective’ is a nod to the power and necessity of doing the work with others. Whether you use the term ’sangha’, or ‘conscious community’, or simply ’supportive relationships’, the complexity of life in the 21st century necessitates more than ever an embracing of our interconnectedness.
Oh, and fun! Undertaking this work is life-changing, enriching and liberating, so it is going to involve challenge and discomfort at times. It’s important to inject as much joy and fun into the process as possible. Our events are also designed to be a spark of inspiration and newness into what can become rote, demanding lives in the city.
We hope to see you at one of our events to explore how we can support your growth and unfoldment.

Completing 2025 with Clarity and Compassion
Tuxedo Community Hall,, 202-29th Avenue NE, Calgary, AB, CAAn end-of-year reflection, release, and integration gathering
Before we step into a new year, there’s profound value in pausing — to reflect on what 2025 has really been for us, to honour the growth that occurred (including the unexpected kinds), and to consciously release whatever no longer needs to be carried forward.
This evening invites you to slow down, look honestly at the year you’ve lived, and harvest the insights that arise when we bring full awareness to our experience. What did you learn? What are you ready to let go of? And what quiet seeds of future becoming are already shimmering beneath the surface?
Through shared reflection, guided prompts, and gentle conversation, we’ll make space for closure, gratitude, and renewal — creating fertile ground for the intentions you’ll clarify in January.
What to Expect
We’ll draw on two complementary approaches:
• Integral Theory tools
to help us reflect in a whole-person, whole-life way, surfacing insights that span the inner and outer dimensions of our experience and ensuring we don’t miss any hidden blindspots.
• Year Compass reflection practices
to guide us through the meaningful process of reviewing the past year — its milestones, lessons, challenges, joys, and turning points — and distilling what truly matters.
Expect a warm, communal, spacious atmosphere with reflective writing, paired or small-group conversation, and practices for releasing and completion.
A companion event focused on intention-setting for 2026 has also been planned in January for anyone wishing to do a letting in to complement this letting go session.
If you are planning to attend, RSVPing helps us prepare enough printed materials for everyone.
General Description of Monthly Gatherings
Conscious Transformation Collective gatherings focus on both inner development (deepening our connection with calm, peace, joy, and non-clinging awareness) and the practical ways we bring that clarity into the world. We draw on wisdom traditions such as Buddhadharma and the Western Mysteries, as well as the comprehensive lens of Integral Theory. Each session includes practical tools, embodied insights, and interactive activities.
Teacher/Facilitator
This session will be led by Christopher Lawley, who has been practicing and training in the universalist Namgyal lineage of Vajrayana Buddhism and Western Mysteries for close to 2 decades with the Clear Sky Center sangha and Planet Dharma. Christopher is steeped in Integral Theory and uses it to inform his work with individuals, teams, and groups. He is a trained coach and convener who designs and facilitates group processes using frameworks such as the Art of Hosting. Christopher is also on the organizing committee of the Integral Conference of North America (ICON) which will be taking place in May 2026 in Denver, Colorado.
Dāna - Pay from the Heart

Conscious Intention-Setting for 2026
Congress Coffee Company, 215 36 Ave NE, 1A, Calgary, AB, CAA new-year visioning and alignment gathering
As we turn the page into a new year, this gathering offers dedicated space to pause, look ahead, and consciously shape the path you want to walk in 2026. What do you long to cultivate? What qualities do you want to embody? What direction feels most alive, wise, and true?
Carving out intentional time at the beginning of the year helps align your choices with your deeper values, strengthens your sense of agency, and reduces the drift that happens when unconscious habits or outside agendas fill the space for you. Doing this together — in community — brings clarity, inspiration, accountability, and a sense of shared momentum.
This evening is an invitation to orient toward what matters most and to set the tone for the year ahead with presence, integrity, and heart.
What to Expect
We’ll draw on the same complementary approaches used in December’s reflection gathering — now focused on looking forward:
• Integral Theory tools
to help you vision across all dimensions of life (inner and outer, individual and collective), so your intentions are grounded, comprehensive, and free from common blindspots.
• Year Compass intention-setting practices
to clarify what you want to grow, shift, nurture, or begin in 2026 — turning insights into clear, meaningful commitments.
The evening will include reflective writing, interactive activities, and supportive small-group sharing to help you deepen your clarity and translate it into aligned action.
If you are planning to attend, RSVPing helps us prepare enough printed materials for everyone.
