About us
What does it mean to be a fully conscious and integrated human being in 2025? This group is devoted to creating a community of practitioners who can explore this question in meaningful and profound ways.
Events are designed to help cultivate inner and outer wisdom, strength and fulfillment. We are heavily influenced by Integral Theory, the most comprehensive mapping of the kosmos that we are aware of.
On the inner plane we introduce and support practices that cultivate profound levels of calm, peace, love and equanimity. Many of the practices are drawn from Buddhadharma and the Western Mysteries traditions, but we are not dogmatic or attached to labels. Whatever works is what we use.
On the outer plane, we explore the cutting edge of research-based understandings about how to act skillfully and compassionately in the world. From interpersonal models and practices to personal mastery frameworks to systems thinking approaches, we are committed to supporting all aspects of what it takes to be a well-rounded human being.
Finally, the word ‘Collective’ is a nod to the power and necessity of doing the work with others. Whether you use the term ’sangha’, or ‘conscious community’, or simply ’supportive relationships’, the complexity of life in the 21st century necessitates more than ever an embracing of our interconnectedness.
Oh, and fun! Undertaking this work is life-changing, enriching and liberating, so it is going to involve challenge and discomfort at times. It’s important to inject as much joy and fun into the process as possible. Our events are also designed to be a spark of inspiration and newness into what can become rote, demanding lives in the city.
We hope to see you at one of our events to explore how we can support your growth and unfoldment.

Embarking on the Hero's Journey
Tuxedo Community Hall,, 202-29th Avenue NW, Calgary, AB, CAWhat story are you living and what is calling you forward?
Join us on an experiential exploration inspired by Paul Rebillot's Call to Adventure and the timeless map of the Hero's Journey. Drawing on the Western Mysteries tradition and the inner wisdom of contemplative practice, this gathering invites you to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the deeper currents shaping your life. Through meditation, music, and guided reflection, we'll explore the thresholds, trials, and transformations that show up in our own stories, and what it might mean to answer the call that is uniquely yours.
This is a beginner-friendly and introductory evening, warmly welcoming to those new to meditation and to those with existing practice alike.

The Path of Reconnection: Navigating Self, Other, and the World
Congress Coffee Company, 215 36 Ave NE, 1A, Calgary, AB, CAWhether you call it the 'Meaning Crisis,' the 'Meta-crisis,' or simply a deep sense of burnout, many of us feel a fundamental disconnect from ourselves, each other, and the world we live in.
We often sense that something is missing, but we can’t always name what it is.
At this gathering we are stepping back from complex developmental theory to focus on three essential areas of life that require our presence and care. Inspired by the "Three Divides" of Theory U and the timelessness of the great wisdom traditions, we will explore how to bridge the gaps in our lives through three levels of reconnection:
What We’ll Explore:
- Reconnecting with Self (The "I"): Tuning back into our internal source and subjective experience.
- Reconnecting with Each Other (The "We"): Building a "Sangha" or community where we truly see and hear one another.
- Reconnecting with the World (The "It"): Finding the sacred in our material environment and the systems we inhabit.
What to Expect:
We’ll use the Integral Quadrants as a simple map to help us see where we are flourishing and where we might be feeling "stuck." Whether you are a long-time student of Integral Theory or this is your very first time hearing the term, you will walk away with a clearer understanding of how these different parts of your life fit together. This will be an interactive session featuring a short talk, shared reflection, and small-group discussions.
The Details:
Who: Open to everyone (no prior experience with Integral Theory required)
Why: To move from theory into the lived territory of conscious connection.
Bring: An open heart, a curious mind, and a notebook if you like to jot down insights. We look forward to connecting with you and exploring how we can all show up more fully for ourselves and each other for the benefit of all beings.
We won’t be going into Integral Theory much in this talk. If you would like to learn a bit about Integral beforehand, you can watch this YouTube playlist for a deep-ish dive; or our Instagram reels here and here for a quick, accessible snapshot.
General Description of Monthly Gatherings
Conscious Transformation Collective gatherings focus on both inner development (deepening our connection with calm, peace, joy, and non-clinging awareness) and the practical ways we bring that clarity into the world. We draw on wisdom traditions such as Buddhadharma and the Western Mysteries, as well as the comprehensive lens of Integral Theory. Each session includes practical tools, embodied insights, and interactive activities.Facilitator
This session will be led by Christopher Lawley, who has been practicing and training in the universalist Namgyal lineage of Vajrayana Buddhism and Western Mysteries for close to 2 decades with the Clear Sky Center sangha and Planet Dharma. Christopher is steeped in Integral Theory and uses it to inform his work with individuals, teams, and groups. He is a trained coach and convener who designs and facilitates group processes using frameworks such as the Art of Hosting. Christopher is also on the organizing committee of the Integral Conference of North America (ICON) which will be taking place in May 2026 in Denver, Colorado.Dāna - The Practice of Generosity
