There is a state of stillness, peace, and love that makes up the basic fabric of the universe. Meditation practises allow us to experience this ‘ground of being’. Over time, a dedicated meditation practice allows us to stay connected to and manifest this peaceful grounded energy, regardless of the external conditions we find ourselves in. An unshakeable stillness that we can manifest in the world.

Join us for an outdoor meditation session dedicated to doing our individual part to bring more peace into the world. We will have some brief instruction, then a 30-minute lovingkindness sit. For those who would like to stick around, there will be the opportunity for wholesome conversation, connection, and summer activities like frisbee.

With all of the turmoil going on in the world and conflict filling our newsfeeds, it can be easy to forget that we actually have more agency over how we experience life and the impact we have on the world around us. Join us for an evening of practice and reconnect with this deepest part of yourself.

(We will have some cushions to borrow, or you can bring your own. Please bring a blanket or something else you can sit on that will go on the ground under your cushion.)

In Case of Rain:
Last time this event got rained out. This time we will plan to pivot to an online Zoom gathering if the weather turns again. In the event this happens, we will send the link to everyone who has RSVP'ed.
