Cacao Ceremony+Somatic Healing Circle

I am super excited about co-facilitating this special Full Moon + Lunar Eclipse circle and I want to extend the invitation to you all to join us as we savor heart-opening medicine of ancient cacao with a beautiful guest-priestess-healer from Ecuador, Jhoselyn.

In Jhoselyn’s own words:

“Cacao medicine is something that runs within me and my ancestors. My father had a piece of sacred land in the Ecuadorian Amazon, where I had the delight of work understanding Mama Cacao from its seed. I am fortunate to know every step that is behind sharing a cup of ceremonial cacao. From observing how its seed germinates, waiting for the tree to mature, flower, bear fruit and only when the time is right to harvest to begin the process of fermentation, drying, roasting and finally creating ceremonial cacao paste. Mama Cacao is the medicine of the heart of mother earth, native of Ecuador.

A Cacao Ceremony connects us with the spirit of the great mother, Pachamama. This is a drink given to connect with the divinity on Earth, working directly with the heart. The base is a ceremonial cacao paste, ritualistically prepared. This contains a high level of Theobromine, a compound that produces endorphins which provides emotional ecstasy, pleasure, love as well as energy, relaxation, tranquility and eliminates body pain. Cacao is an adaptogen, giving you exactly what you need”.

•Stay away from Caffeine, White Sugar, Dairy and/or Meat 3 hours before the ritual
•White celebratory attire suggested (white signifies purity)
