Ruth says, "It doesn't take much to see that our human world is in trouble right now. And I believe core shamanism -- including the deceptively simply but powerful technology of drum journeying, no plant medicines required -- is uniquely well-equipped to help us both survive and transform these times.
"I also believe lesbians and queer people are particularly suited for this 'path of direct revelation,' in which we access guidance ourselves, rather than relying on received wisdom from others. We all know the 'received wisdom' of heteronormativity didn't fit for us. So connecting with the larger realms ourselves is a natural next step.
"Every human culture has acknowledged the existence of non-physical beings, both benevolent and dangerous, but present-day Western culture doesn't teach us how to work with this level of reality. You've probably experienced miracles, synchronicities, or other remarkable mystical or healing experiences -- most of us have -- but we haven't been given the tools to make sense of them, trust them, and receive their fullest blessings in our lives. This series will give you those tools."

About The Instructor
Ruth is author of the book Soul On Earth: A Guide To Living & Loving Your Human Life (download a free excerpt here!) She has been practicing and teaching core shamanism since 2003. She published the Amazon-bestselling book Conscious Lesbian Dating & Love in 2015 (start reading it for free right here) and founded the Conscious Girlfriend Academy in 2020. Since then, the Academy has helped lesbians and adjacent queer people in 25 countries learn to prevent heartbreak, date wisely and love well.
Now, the Academy is expanding its mission and developing a Queer Spirit series, centering our community but also welcoming our close allies -- because it's time to give this world everything we've got.
