Edgar Cayce/The Association for Research & Enlightenment

The talk is offered by Nancy Thomas, a member of this organization since the late 70’s and who is a Life Member. She is currently the field conference coordinator for Michigan.

She first became aware of Cayce after reading the book “On Religion and the Psychic Experience” by Harmon Bro, and has been an avid student of the Cayce WORK ever since.

During Cayce’s lifetime (1877 – 1945) he gave over 14,000 discourses on various topics, which became known as “readings”. Most of the readings were for the diagnosis and treatment of various illnesses and physical conditions.

When his advice was followed to the letter, they never failed, even though they were frequently questioned and certainly not always easy to follow. Eventually, during a physical reading, he explained an illness in terms of a past life experience.

That opened up a whole new area for Cayce, and his Source continued to bring more and more varied topics through Cayce. He was not too pleased when he came to consciousness and learned what he had said about reincarnation! He was a Kentucky bred Bible student and teacher, in addition to his regular jobs.
