What does a conscious team look like in action?
Conscious teams pay close attention to the state in which their work is being done. Team members understand that if their actions come from a place of fear, frustration, or stress, it is not received well by others and leads to an unproductive work environment.

Having that awareness, each team member takes responsibility for managing their state and communicating in a way that is based in curiosity and open-mindedness, rather than needing to be right. When leaders notice they are in a state of defensiveness, they pause, breathe, and reset.

They practice self-regulation, returning to a state of curiosity and openness. This creates a context of trust and sincere connection, where everyone feels safe to express themselves authentically.

Hey, friend!! Thanks for being here. Here's a bit about my background.

For 7+ years I’ve supported coached and trained hundreds of business leaders at Fortune 500 companies from executives to the front-line on topics such as self-awareness, emotional intelligence, peak performance, leadership, conflict resolution, and more.

A few of the many companies I’ve had the honor of working with:
Salesforce, McDonald’s, Red Bull, Microsoft, eBay, Morgan Stanley, EY, Bank of America, Maersk, Abbott

Over my career training and coaching hundreds of business leaders and their team, what I’ve noticed is that most leaders and their teams want to perform at the highest levels, but they don’t know how. So what do they do? They invest in more skills related content and training, which is cool! But if that were the solution, then why do we have so many highly skilled executives and leaders who are miserable?

In my opinion, they are stuck because they cannot yet perceive that there a whole new level of performance which is limited by their level consciousness—they are stuck in scarcity, victimhood, and survival.

Today, as Founder & CEO of The Conscious Teams Project, I bring my many years of knowledge and experiences to help individuals, teams, and organizations as a consultant and coach to experience a new way of doing business. The old models of leadership are outdated—focusing mainly on behaviors and management skills. New leadership models consider that without a change in consciousness, nothing changes.
