Tidepooling Adventure in La Jolla

The next "King Tides" are expected the first weekend in January. Low / Negative tide should be a great time to explore tidepools. Birch Aquarium in La Jolla is offering a guided tidepool tour at False Point on Saturday, January 3rd.
NOTE: This is a guided tour (on foot) led by a naturalist from the aquarium and requires an ADVANCE PURCHASE TICKET for $25

Please wear layers and comfortable shoes with good tread that you don't mind getting wet.
This event does NOT meet at Birch Aquarium. It meets at False Point Tidepools, which is accessible via stairs. Parking is in the residential neighborhood surrounding the tidepools, so allow extra time to find a spot or plan on taking public transportation. Your ticket will include detailed information on parking and the meetup point.
Event starts at 2:30, but plan on arriving at 2 pm so our group can meet and mingle a bit.
