Details
Calling all Constitutionalists and Free Speech fans: You are invited to an open Meet and Greet for 2 hours, by Zoom, this Saturday, 11-1 CST or 12-2 EST: Ray and Emily want to meet you, and hear your ideas, and your concerns about public and social media. Emily is networking to propose a Constitutional Council, representing respective parties proportionally, to facilitate consensus for advising govt, media and party leaders on solutions to political issues. Ray is an advocate of "Smart Politics" (see personal background below). We both commit to better use of the Internet and Social Media for constructive communication. Please reply if interested. or if you cannot attend, please send a msg with your ideas, interests or concerns. (If you have political ideas concerning Constitutional reforms, please contact EMILY, who is a Texas Constitutionalist interested in mentoring all districts to become self-governing through training in Constitutional ethics www.ethics-commission.net.) RAY is a 67 year old survivor of long term mental and physical disability, the one making the other worse. He calls those his "superpowers " now. He has seen the light at the end of the tunnel, and has made it to the other side. His hope is to help others on their personal journey by establishing meaningful relationships and personal fulfillment. He has studied from home by way of the internet for decades on philosophy, inter-personal communication, religion, and dabbles in American politics and science from his home in Canada. He is a left leaning social democrat, and to an American, might seem like a straight up socialist of the "Bernie Sanders" type. He is an atheist and is fond of religious arguments for the existence of God, which has been his main focus since the early 90's. He runs a small Facebook group dedicated to "elevating our conversation" for 3 years where hot topics are discussed on higher and higher levels, on step at a time. Since March of 2022, he has been learning to practice a form of persuasive conversation called "Smart Politics", which has as it's goal to help Democrats and Republicans toward a mutual understanding. The main idea is to first focus on building up a relationship of trust before ever engaging in a heated conversation on politics. He has come to realize that the Smart Politics methods can be used in all conversations, including debates on religion, politics, sexual identity, and every kind of "difficult conversation" that people want to engage in. He has zero tolerance for personal attack, and loves to simplify and clarify people's ideas. He leads by compassion and critical thinking, so expect both.
