Contemporary Art Auckland

This is a group for people who want to explore together Auckland's contemporary art scene. Anyone is welcome, whatever their level of knowledge.

The group is inspired by Bristol & Bath Contemporary Art. We will meet to visit exhibitions together (probably monthly-ish, depending on what's on) and there will be the possibility to discuss what we have seen after the visits, at a nearby cafe or pub (optional).

We'll have a system for anyone interested to suggest the exhibitions they would like to see, and we'll use this input to decide what to see next. The group is inclusive of people of all genders, ethnicities, disability, sexual orientation, or age.

We hope to meet you at one of our visits! The first one will be the Olafur Eliasson show at the Art Gallery, end of January.
