Conversation Design: When words are the interface

Grace will look at the emerging field of Conversation Design, and the need for a focus on words, language and dialogue to make machine-human communication work.

In this talk, she will share some guidelines for navigating this new design space. And she'll discuss why content designers make great conversation designers.

Grace is a Conversational Lead for Europe for Fjord/Accenture Interactive. This new role is focused on establishing and expanding the craft of conversational design for our teams in Europe. Before that, she was Content Design Lead at the Dock, Accenture's innovation hub in Dublin.

She’s passionate about a human-centred approach to language, and the role of content and conversation at the heart of the design process. Grace has a background in the Humanities, journalism, copywriting, and UX Design.
