7:00 PM: Creating dynamic and personalized content with Contentful and React - Joona Ojapalo, Riikka Helkkula (Frosmo)

With React you can create great user experiences, but adding personalization and business rules is tricky.

In this talk Joona will explain how he has created a solution for personalization without duplicating code or content but rather using Frosmo’s rule engine for targeting.

Joona: Joona is a senior frontend developer and React evangelist at Frosmo. He has worked in lead developer role on ecommerce platforms both in startup and corporate cultures.
Riikka: Riikka Helkkula works as a Platform Training Manager and Contentful expert at Frosmo.

Most people have discovered that WYSIWYG editors are not the best idea when you're dealing with content at scale. Their end format is neither reusable nor portable to other platforms. That said – should we "markdown all the things", or not?

Let's have a look at all the things Markdown is great at, evaluate rough edges and have a look at alternatives like Contentful's Rich Text Editor.
