Intro to Ukulele Lessons with The Contookuleles

Are you ready to strum your way into the wonderful world of ukulele? Join seasoned members of The Contookuleles of Hopkinton for a series of four fun and engaging beginner workshops!
What You'll Learn:

• Workshop 1: Ukulele Fundamentals & First Chords! Get acquainted with your ukulele, learn proper holding techniques, basic strumming patterns, and your very first chords. You'll be playing simple songs by the end of this exciting first lesson!
• Workshop 2: Expanding Your Chord Vocabulary & Rhythms! Build on your foundation with new chords and more diverse strumming techniques. We'll explore different rhythms to bring your songs to life.
• Workshop 3: Chord Transitions & Playing Together! Master smooth chord changes and learn how to play popular songs with confidence. We'll focus on timing and working together as an ensemble.
• Workshop 4: Song Showcase & Ukulele Community! Put all your new skills to the test! We'll learn more songs and even have a chance to share our progress in a supportive and friendly environment. Discover the joy of playing with others and become a part of our ukulele community!

SUGGESTED FEE: $40 for four lessons. All fees will be donated to MainStreet Warner, Inc. to support its efforts to grow the local music scene. Advance registration not required.
