Special Dance with Phil Jamison

- We are fortunate to have an evening with Phil Jamison (www.philjamison.com), the renowned dance caller, old-time musician, flatfoot dancer, and scholar of traditional Appalachian dance, before he appears at the Easter National Folk Festival in Canberra.
The dance will feature an excellent old-time band.
This will be a great evening of contra dance. Phil will call several of the dances. He will include some Southern Squares and also give a demonstration of flatfoot dancing.ia.org/wiki/Contra_dance. Singles and couples are all very welcome. The cost for this dance is $20 ($10 for students/non-dancers). Cash or PayID is preferred.
- No experience needed. If it's your first time and you wish to dance, please attend for free instruction before the dance from 7.15 – 7.45 pm.
