SPECIAL FREE DANCE at First Thursday on November 6th!

ContraCola is participating in First Thursday in downtown Columbia on November 6th from 6:00 to 7:30. We will be dancing on the stage at Boyd Plaza in front of the Columbia Art Museum. This is a great opportunity to introduce the larger community to a type of social dancing that is easy to learn and fun to do! Come join us, and if you are an experienced contra dancer, we NEED YOU to show the first time dancers how to allemande or swing!

Music will be provided by Cloud 10 and local callers, Victor Gascon and Dianne Palmer-Quay, will be leading the dances.

Schedule:

• 5:45pm Gather at Boyd Plaza
• 6:00pm Contra basics instructions and dancing for everybody begins
• 7:30pm Dancing ends
