Contra Dance and Potluck - Saturday, September 27th

Join the Columbia Contra dance community for fellowship around a potluck meal at 6:00 pm, followed by dancing until 10 pm.

CALLER & BAND: The caller for the evening is Stephanie Marie from Charlotte, who will use the role terms Larks and Robins. Live music will be provided by the Evil Twins, featuring David Knight on fiddle and Laurie Fisher on piano, drums and fiddle.

TIME: Doors will open at 5:45 to allow set up for the meal. Bring a dish to share with serving utensils. Paper goods and water will be provided. There will be a review of dance basics at 6:30 with the full dance starting at 7:00pm.

DANCE LOCATION - The dance occurs at Arsenal Hill, 1800 Lincoln St. Columbia. Free Parking can be found in the adjacent parking garage.

COST: A donation of $10, cash or check or $10.50 on Venmo

OTHER DETAILS: Children age 12 and under dance for free with a paying (and supervising) adult.

Wear comfortable clothing and soft-soled, non-marking shoes. Feel free to bring a snack to share for later during the dance.
