Conundrum Corner - London

A chance to start (or continue) those sticky morality discussions over some madras, vindaloo or even phall and get to the crux of matters.

We'll meet first in the White Hart and then enter the (ahem) Conundrum of selecting a resturant on Brick Lane...

The theme for the evening will be "Family vs Society"

We'll be discussing the following questions;

1. Does prioritising immediate family reduce moral obligations to society, or is it just another form of contribution?
2. How does one reconcile prioritising fairness universally while also supporting loved ones disproportionately?
3. Should adult social care be funded by local government as at present, or by something national that can draw on central government resources?

*due to popular demand...... An informal evening to meet and chat with your fellow Conundrumers.

Come down to the Union Jack

• hang out with familiar faces and/or get to know new members
• continue those discussions from previous Conundrum Corners
• unwind on a Tuesday in the cosy Union Jack with a drink and some food

• With a few extra details in hand, we’ll break into small groups for thoughtful discussion.
• Then, we’ll come together as one big group to share insights, perspectives, and perhaps even some fresh solutions.

The atmosphere is analytical yet empathetic, thoughtful yet light-hearted, and always non-judgmental. Whether your conundrum is personal, professional, or just a head-scratcher, we’re here to help unravel it together.

💸 There’s no set fee to attend, but we do ask for donations on the night to cover costs - which are warmly appreciated!
