Details
With a focus on security and surveillance, the artificial intelligence for autonomous drone flights becomes more and more important. The power of Edge Computing and the AI capabilities enable intelligent data analysis and recognition of potential incidents in the real-time video stream.
Join us in this event where Optare Solutions will describe a surveillance drone application that uses 5G and MEC technologies in combination with AI models for pedestrian tracking purposes. This solution resulted as the winner of the last ETSI MEC Hackathon and uses Intel® Smart Edge Open (previously known as OpenNESS) as the edge computing platform, where the OpenVINO™ based inference application is instantiated.
Santiago Rodríguez García is a Software Architect at Optare Solutions. García has a degree in Telecommunication Engineering by the University of Vigo (Spain) and he has worked at Optare Solutions for several ISP and mobile operators (Vodafone, R Cable, Sky, Mas Movil) in different roles like developer, analyst and architect.
