We'll discuss a very interesting story of the Zona Canalera in Panamá, an American community established for the workers and their families during the construction of the Panama Canal. Situated in the middle of a tropical paradise, we'll discuss the challenges of Los zonians (o zoneítas) and local Panamanians faced as they attempted to coexist.
