What we’re about
Hello! This is group is open to anyone who enjoys talking books with others.
I'm an avid reader, speaker and writer with a background in publishing. These days, when not reading, I work as an editor and organiser and I'm Boss Lady at London Writers' Cafe, the UK's biggest fiction writing group with 4,500 members on Meetup. I hope this will be the place to find like-minded readers who enjoy conversing about books.
Find me on insta @LisasShare and I'm also on Goodreads.

A literary evening out for readers: Bàrd Debuts OCTOBER
Bàrd Books, 341-343 Roman Rd, Bow, London E3 5QR, London, GBSo many new bookshops to explore but Bard Books near Mile End is fast becoming my new favourite. Once a month they gather the best debut authors together for relaxed conversation and readings. I've been twice now and it's such a great night out.
I thought you might like to know it was happening.
Bard Debuts - October 22nd from 6:30pm - 9:00pm
Imagine a night of speed dating except the people selling themselves are the newest authors on the scene. JOIN US for the latest of a monthly night celebrating debut author. Meet the faces behind the work as they each take the stage for 10 minutes to present their work.

Tickets: £5
It's a small bookshop but I would say they can fit up to 30 people comfortably in the space (see photos). It has a café/bar so you can grab a tea or a stronger drink to imbibe while you listen to the authors.
Hope to see you there! If you book your ticket, tell me (post a comment below) and we can arrange to sit together. I've booked mine.NOTE: RSVP'ing for this event doesn't mean you have a seat. You will need to book and pay for your place with the bookshop here:
