Ashwini Ganeshan, Conversation Designer at Liveperson
Ashwini Ganeshan is a multilingual Conversation Designer with a UX Research and Linguistics background. In her designs, she aims to create user-centric, frictionless, accessible, and valuable conversational experiences for users. She currently works at LivePerson defining automation roadmaps and building multichannel conversational AI solutions for major enterprise brands. Her most recent work includes partnering with the LivePeron product team to improve the Gen AI bots by testing and providing solutions focussed on the UX. Ashwini holds a PhD in Hispanic Linguistics from the University of Texas at Austin and in her former role as a professor she researched human communication, behavior, and attitudes.
She is also passionate about creating better experiences in other ways besides conversation design. Currently, for example, she is co-leading a program to support professional and personal development for women and non-binary folk at her company. And through public speaking, she shares her knowledge and learnings to empower others in their careers.
Ashwini currently lives in Oklahoma City, in the US. In her free time, she dotes on and entertains her two bulldogs.

Tim Willers, Head of Conversation Design at Nibble
Tim Willers is the Head of Conversation Design at Nibble, the AI Negotiation chatbot for e-commerce. He has a background in copywriting and UX writing, having worked with clients in North America and freelanced for clients in the UK, before finding his niche in Conversation Design at Nibble.
Working within product teams, marketing teams, and dev teams, he promotes best Conversation Design practice to the wider company and reviews chats for opportunities to improve. Nibble’s goal in conversations is to persuade and agree a deal with customers – so delivering clear, effective copy and an on-brand bot persona is essential, whether you are negotiating on beauty products, furniture, online financial courses, or anything in between.
He is certified by the Conversation Design Institute and has attended conferences in North America and the UK to share strategies on how to ensure human-computer conversations feel authentic, natural, and most importantly – human.

Meredith Schulz, Sr. Conversation Design Manager at LivePerson
Meredith has over 15 years experience working with product and engineering teams, helping increase engagement via conversational interfaces, marketing and in-app experiences. Meredith currently manages a conversation design team across a portfolio of consumer brands at LivePerson, where they create 1:1 sales and support experiences for Web messaging, SMS, Apple Business Chat, Google’s Business Messages, WhatsApp, Messenger, and other messaging channels. Meredith is also a co-organizer for the Conversational Collective meetup.
