HIKE MCINTYRE BLUFF - OLIVER

This is a great yearly trek up to the Bluff. Details 13 km round trip with aprox 599 metres of elevation gain (most of which are in short bursts). This is not a race so we will hike according to the groups ability.

We have to access the trailhead through the Willowbrook Community park entrance rather than the old way through Covert Farms Winery. Directions as follows: From the bottom of the hill just before entering OK Falls, turn right onto Green Lake Rd. You will pass two wineries and a small lake before you will come to the Willowbrook Community. Turn left on Johnson Crescent. The trail head starts at Willowbrook Community Park on Johnson Crescent. Drive Slowly along Johnson Crescent watching on your left for the small dirt road entrance. It can be easily missed.

This is a private park so a usage fee of $5 per person (cash) applies unless you are a member of the park association. There is a drop box at the gate.
Bring a snack as we will break for a bite at the top. The Bluffs can be quite windy at the top so make sure you dress accordingly.
