(I rescheduled from October 12 as we were down to 4 people, and I'd like more people to be able to enjoy this hike.)
Let's hike the incomparable and unforgettable Skaha Bluffs Provincial Park. The route we'll take is one I've done many times but never tire of. I think it's one of the must-do hikes in the area.
We'll hike a loop: about 7 km return, 300 m elevation gain to the high point (at roughly the halfway mark), and 3 hours of hiking.
This hike is not to be taken lightly: while literally it's a walk in the park, figuratively it isn't.
There are a couple of short steep/scrambling sections and there is some walking/scrambling over and around rocks/boulders.
And if you're afraid of heights there is one spot that might worry you, an unavoidable but very short walk right at the edge of a sharp drop-off.
No dogs or other pets.
