This is a hike of the lovely Mt. Boucherie in West Kelowna. We'll use different trails than most people take on this mountain: wilder and more varied and interesting but also much steeper in places and with more challenging footing.
We'll take the Andesite Grinder trail up to the west peak, then head over to the east peak on the undulating ridge, then take a different trail back down to rejoin the Grinder trail partway down. On the ridge you're on top of the world, and the views are spectacular.
The trails are steep in a couple of places, but we'll be going up, not down, on the steepest ones.
About 4 km length, about 400 m cumulative elevation gain.
No dogs or other pets.
