Possible Trip to Waterton in August 2026

I would like to do a week in Waterton Lakes National Park, which is in the south-western corner of Alberta for those who have never been there. I am planning this for the week of August 9th (arrival) to the 15th (departure), so hiking would occur August 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14.

My plan is be there for five days, during which time I will do two hard hikes, one or two moderate hikes and one or two easy hikes.

If you are interested I will have a planning session at my home at 6 pm, on Thursday, November 6th for a couple of hours. I will have some maps, hike choices and photos to show at that time.

If you sign up for this November 6th meeting, you are NOT committing to coming in August. This is just an information session. If you are interested please come along.

PS - my townhouse is not all that large so I will limit the size of the group, but if lots and lots of people were interested I would consider having a second meeting if that was necessary. I live in Unit #12, 316 Whitman Road in Glenmore (Kelowna). You have to park on Whitman Road, not in the complex itself.
